Desolation Point
Really, really quite good. It starts packed with action and doesn't let up til the very end. Cari delights in torturing her heroines with injury, but she does so while allowing the characters' delightful personalities to shine through. Even more suspenseful than Snowbound, and I couldn't put it down once the drama started. Highly recommended for those up for an action-packed adventure. Also, there's maiming. I do enjoy a good bit of maiming and some good hurt-comfort.
